OUR STORY
Mr. Walter Lach (left), founder of A & A Line & Wire,
with Ismael Cantres, longtime employee.
Family run - a company you can relate to.
In 1963, Walter Lach founded A&A Line & Wire Corp., with the mission of manufacturing vinyl (PVC) clothesline using a cost-saving method. The plastic clothesline was marketed under the company's CROWN brand name, as well as several national private labels.
From that focused beginning, today A&A has grown to a complete cordage house, serving the metro NY market and beyond with a comprehensive line of rope and twine. Our warehouse, located in Northern NJ, is filled with trailer-loads of twine and rope, from cotton and poly twine to heavy ropes of nylon, polypropylene, and manila.
A&A remains a primary source of plastic clothesline, as well as sash cord, trick line, Italian Spring Twine, and other specialty cordage items.
We are family owned and operated, with low overhead, and zero debt. Our customers - from large to small - receive individual attention and courteous service, because their business matters to the people handling it.
Throughout our history, this combination of competitive pricing and excellent service has kept our company growing in a shrinking playing field.
